PODCAST: Penitent Disciples – Yeshua in Context

Love as deed. Hesed (the Hebrew word for loyal love or lovingkindness).

If we think about the practical side of Yeshua’s teaching (like the teaching of the Israelite prophets), we see it’s about hesed. And the core of our service to God is loving deeds toward people. Our worship is only acceptable when our hesed is right.

The parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector is a part of that lifestyle Yeshua taught his disciples. But beware, the parable is a trap.
